Every once in awhile something occurs in my life. It's a deja vu moment that either gives you a strange feeling or makes you really curious about whether or not we're all in just in big matrix. Or maybe a gigantic ant farm of some advanced alien experiment. Or maybe that there's several dimensions or alternate realities that are existing and sometimes intertwine or cross. I don't know.
I've had deja vu moments many times before but yesterday it wasn't just a deja vu. I could swear it happened before! Exactly the same way.
I was driving to the beach yesterday. I stopped at this little joint to get a milkshake.
The pretty little girl who was the same one the served me before goes, ''hi! what can I get you? ''
I reply, ''vanilla milkshake please''
She starts ringing up my order. I exclaim, ''wait! I have the change, I'll give you that you give me a 5 back''
She looks at me and smiles, finishes ringing up the order.
Then her and her female coworker starting laughing at a 3rd male coworker that is doing squats for some strange reason. Then he boasts, '' I'll do them facing the other way so the customers can see me.''
I poke fun at him and say, ''ass to the grass boy, or it doesn't count''
Just then it hit me! This exact conversation with the same weather, the same people around happened. Now I'm deviating from my part because I'm tripping out. But everything else is the same. The cashier is handing me the shake and goes ''here you go have a nice day!'' I didn't walk away like I did last time because I knew she was about to say, ''oh wait, hehehe, I forgot your straw, sorry about that my brain's fried today''
I take the straw and trip over the little bench they have their and gather myself. I tripped last time too.
Same clothes, same weather, same people around. Mind boggling. I was so perplexed. I still am.
I can't convey to you the eerie feeling I had after. I know I just wasted 2 minutes of your time that you'll never get back but damnit...
If you've ever had a moment or 2 in your life where it wasn't just deja vu. Where you could swear it was almost a glitch in the system or alternate realities/dimensions intertwining. Post it. I can't be the only one that has experienced this.
